Fish Group

Martha Cove was a $650 million joint venture project being developed on a 91-hectare site at Mt Martha, 60km from Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. Comprising 1,150 homes and villas, 600 marina berths, 200 dry boat berths, tourist accommodation, and commercial and retail space.

John Fish hand picked the site for this masterplanned community. All approvals were sought and construction commenced on stage one of Martha Cove in early 2004. Stage one civil construction included a $23 million tunnel, which took the esplanade road under the mouth of the waterway. This gave Victoria its first inland waterway that was not burdened by a height restrictive bridge. 

Fish Group sold their interest in the project in June 2005.
